Overview

InfluenceUp Media Corporation (IMC) is a full-service media company offering everything from documentary production and PR campaigns to event management and digital strategy. They needed a website that could communicate the breadth of what they do — across seven distinct service areas — without overwhelming visitors or feeling cluttered.

The Challenge

The main design problem wasn’t technical — it was organizational. IMC offers a wide range of services that span very different industries: production studios, influencer marketing, event management, consultancy, and communication campaigns. Presenting all of this on a single website without losing the visitor’s attention required deliberate structure and visual hierarchy.

Approach

I established a strong, consistent brand identity first — anchoring everything around IMC’s existing color palette of navy blue and gold. These colors naturally communicated authority and professionalism, which aligned with their positioning as an industry leader.

For the homepage, I led with a full-width hero that communicated their core identity immediately, followed by a structured services section. Rather than listing everything at once, I alternated service blocks between light and dark backgrounds — creating a visual rhythm that made the long page feel scannable rather than overwhelming.

The About page was organized into three clear layers: who they are (Introduction), what drives them (Mission & Vision), and what they’re working toward (Objectives). The eight objectives were laid out in a symmetrical grid to give each one equal weight without any single one dominating.

Design Decisions

  • Alternating section colors — Breaking the services into navy and gold alternating blocks gave each service its own visual “moment” while maintaining cohesion across the page
  • Icon-led service blocks — Simple line icons paired with each service made the page easier to scan and added visual interest without adding complexity
  • Typography hierarchy — Bold, large section headers kept the user oriented as they scrolled through a content-heavy page
  • Minimal navigation — Keeping the nav to five items (Home, About, Services, Gallery, Contact) prevented decision fatigue on a site with many service categories

Outcome

The final site gives IMC a clean, professional web presence that reflects the scale of their operations. The structured layout allows a first-time visitor to understand what the company does within the first few seconds, and the consistent branding across all pages communicates organizational maturity.
