Overview
Hashley Store Fixtures is a US-based supplier of commercial shelving and display systems — wall display cases, glass floor showcases, slatwall panels, checkout counters, and more. Their customers are retail store owners looking for practical, reliable fixtures that hold up under daily use. They needed a clean e-commerce storefront that made it easy to browse by fixture type, request a quote, and complete purchases online.
Approach
The site was built on WordPress using the WoodMart theme with Elementor for page building — a well-suited stack for a product-heavy store that needs both flexibility and a solid WooCommerce foundation out of the box.
The homepage was structured around how a store owner actually shops for fixtures: top categories up front, followed by a quote request form for customers who aren’t ready to buy directly, then a “How It Works” section walking through the ordering process. This ordering matters — fixture purchases are often high-consideration decisions involving measurements, quantities, and configurations, so the site needed to support both browse-and-buy and quote-and-confirm workflows.
The About page takes a direct, no-fluff tone that matches the product: who they are, what they do, what they are not, and what they commit to. The “What We Are Not” section in particular — explicitly stating they are not a dropshipper, not a decorative supplier, not a one-time-sale operation — is confident brand positioning that builds trust with commercial buyers.
Category pages use a clean grid with stock status and price filters, supporting practical browsing across a product range with variable sizing and pricing.
Stripe Integration
Checkout was set up with Stripe as the payment processor, enabling direct card payments through WooCommerce. For a US-market store selling commercial fixtures at $150–$400+ per item, having a reliable, professional payment flow was a baseline requirement.
Design Decisions
- WoodMart theme — Chosen for its robust WooCommerce compatibility and built-in support for product grids, filtering, and multi-layout category pages without heavy custom work
- Quote form on homepage — Embedded directly into the homepage rather than a separate page, reducing friction for customers who need guidance before committing to an order
- Muted, professional palette — Navy and white with dark product photography keeps the focus on the fixtures themselves and signals a trade-facing rather than consumer-facing brand
- “How It Works” section — A four-step process block (Tell Us → Fixture Plan → Confirm Specs → Delivery) that sets expectations and reduces pre-purchase hesitation for first-time buyers
Outcome
The site gives Hashley a professional US e-commerce presence with a complete purchase flow — browsing by category, adding to cart, and paying via Stripe — alongside a quote pathway for larger or custom orders. The combination of direct purchase and quote options accommodates both small single-store buyers and multi-location retail operators.
